Subterraneous Records is an independent hip-hop record label founded in January 2000 by legendary underground emcee and producer OneManArmy — better known today as One Be Lo of Binary Star. Conceived out of a commitment to artistic freedom, lyricism, and community, Subterraneous became one of the most respected independent labels in underground hip-hop, championing raw creativity and uncompromising expression.
Origins & Vision
Created at a time when mainstream rap was heavily commercialized, Subterraneous Records offered an alternative path for artists who valued intelligent lyricism, soulful production, and grassroots community building. One Be Lo launched the label shortly after establishing himself with Binary Star, building a platform for his own projects and like-minded artists.

2000 — Masters of the Universe (Binary Star)

2001 — WaterWorld Too (N.W.W.O) (Subterraneous Records compilation)

2002 — Project: F.E.T.U.S. ** (One Be Lo)

2005 — S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. ** (One Be Lo)
Short for Sounds of Nahshid Originate Good Rhymes And Music, this project further defined the label’s signature balance of introspection, social commentary, and intricate rhymes.
2007 — The R.E.B.I.R.T.H. ** (One Be Lo)
